Clarifying assumptions demands knowledge of the research or 'best practice' in the program’s area, as well as 'common sense.” Examples of assumptions: for educational programs We are assuming that People will be motivated to learn/change. In a 2004 study by Kaplan and Garrett, assessing underlying assumptions was found to be one of the most important parts of logic modeling but it is often minimized or overlooked. Last point: Behavior Science class: we test why some health campaigns failed. Smoking ban for under 18 years. The campaign assumed that most stores will comply with the law.
Corel has been more aggressive the last year, trying to protect their software much harder.I have never seen this warning, but I have neither downloaded the extensions either.I'm using the 'extensions' from a earlier CorelDraw Package. Look out for the 'Content Pack', some Gb's of size.I'm quite sure, that once started downloading extensions, the serial and auth. Code you have enteres, has been sent to corel. And that's why you get the message. Do never contact these companies, my advice.

(see attached screen shot)Meanwhile worked around by system-restore, disconnect internet, re-install and firewalling Corel Draw from internet, but now can't get extensions. What can be done?and where's THE KAISER?Thanks! If you dropped the firewall for any reason and allowed Corel to contact their servers than more than likely any crack you used has now been rendered useless.

Thanks people,Just to be clear, I didn't set down the firewall, as it never went up; and I didn't try getting extensions. All I did was install, and ran Corel - as instructed by THE Kaiser. On the 2nd run I got that warning, and only then, as a part of my workaround - set up the firewall, and when I tried setting some feature (don't remember which, something international maybe), Corel itself asked to download an extension, but obviously couldn't, bcoz of the firewall.Meanwhile the workaround is working fine.
If you have i i licensed v ersion of Corel software pro you probably may notice a thir ty unann ounced software application into your computer too. The program is PSIService.exe by Protexis, which installs a Protexis Licensing service or Protexis Licensing V2 service in Windows operating system. SIServic s copy protection RM (digi ement) and license managem ch intends to protect a software or application from piracy and illegal copying. Thus PSI service is normally installed ot r as Corel Paint Shop Pro Photo X2, Corel Paint Shop Pro XI (X1), Corel Paint Shop Pro X, that uses its serv ice to gather licensing informa tion to s end home much like s pyware, e authenticate user t hat uses genuine v ersion of th To make matter worse, the Protexis Licensing serv ice may make PC boots up slower, and when disabled, will cause Corel Paint Shop Pro to s top working, in addition to warn you of running illegal copy of non- genuine softwa re. Besides, PSIServ ice.exe does not uninstall together with the application that installed it, when the application is uninstalled and remov ed.
In any case, whether you wan t to get rid of Protexis while keeping the application that dependen t on it still working prop erly and able to run (contrary to popular belief, Protexis Lic ensing serv ice is not required for program to run), or now need to clean the Protexis PSIService spyware manually due to non-r emov al by origina l application t hat installs it, the procedures to c omplete uninstall and remove Protexis is easy. In fact, the instructions to uninstall PSIservice is provided on Protexis website. If you are certain that no applications using PSIService are still installed on your system, and this serv ice is still runnin g, you c an remov e it manually by following these instructions: 1. Remove the following registry entry: HKEYLOCALMACH INESYSTEMCurr entContro lSetServicesProtexisLicensing 2. Reboot your computer. Delete the following files:%windir%System32PSIService.exe%windir%System32PSIKey.exe Of course, in order to keep applications s uch as Corel Photo Shop Pro continue running without error, the complete remov al inst ructions c annot be followed. Use t he following wor karound instead: 1.
