Standout album of Metalheadz. Too many beard stratchers out there listening to dnb only in their bedrooms and sleeping on some of the best works that were out there destroying nights. When this album hit, everyone was poppin selections in sets. Vanilla, Shutting you Down, Infamous, Special Request, Digital Warrior, Lettin you go, Monkey boy all stone cold Rufige Classics.

Heist and Goldie produced a seminal piece of Metalheadz history. Lack of comments sums up alot of peoples inability to pull their thumbs out of the 90's a-hole and into a great era of Headz. Goldie returns as Rufige Kru & produces a album with a nice sense of shelf life to it. This is an excellent album and sounds like late 90's drum & bass.

Overall the album has got a dark sound to it with nice industrial basslines & breaks. The title track for me is one of the best of 2007 with epic & uplifting soundscapes, a half tempo break & a sensational drop halfway into the tune. This is a must have if you like Metalheadz or drum & bass where a bit of thought has gone into the production as a whole.

Rufige Kru is basically Goldie and whoever is working with him at the time. An outlook for solid drum and bass experimentation.

If he's occasionally gone off the boil with some terribly pretentious nonsense in the past, he's managed to redeem himself with the Ruffige Kru project, and the proof is here with this album. Malice in Wonderland consists of 13 tracks of serious, forward thinking, complex and experimental drum and bass, quite moody in places with lots of technical depth and colour make you realize why you liked this music in the first place and also how badly it's gone wrong when it can be done right like this.
